Hey yogis, I’ve got a new 45 minute slow flow yoga class for you that’s meant to help you stretch your entire body and increase your flexibility. This is a very relaxing yoga class with no strength required. Great to do towards the end of the day when you want to unwind. We’ll go deep into your hips, hamstrings, spine and shoulders with a mix of seated and standing poses.

The stretches can be a bit intense so I would say this is an intermediate yoga class but beginners can certainly follow along and leave some poses out. No props required.

This 20 minute Yin Yoga class is the perfect way to release tension and stress out of your hips as well as increase flexibility in your hamstrings and inner thighs. This slow and restorative yin yoga practice will not only release physical soreness and stiffness but also welcome any release of emotional and mental stress that you may be holding within the hip area of your body. It’s important to surrender to each yin yoga posture and accept any type of emotional release that may come your way. Be patient with your body and let go.

Remember, breathing is a very important factor in any Yin Yoga class so through out this entire practice make sure you’re taking deep breaths in and long slow exhales out. Bring oxygen to your muscles, organs, and mind. Re-energize your nervous system, let go of stress and tension, and become fully present in each moment of each posture as you let go of the past with each exhale you make.

What is Yin Yoga?

Yin Yoga is a style of yoga practice that targets the connective tissues, such as the ligaments, bones, and even the joints of the body that normally are not exercised very much in a more active style of asana practice.

Suitable for almost all levels, Yin Yoga is a perfect complement to the dynamic and muscular (yang) styles of yoga that emphasize internal heat, and the lengthening and contracting of our muscles. Yin Yoga generally targets the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine.

Yin Yoga has many amazing benefits but below are some of the key benefits you may begin to feel after a regular yin practice:

Take what you need from this class. From headstands to hip opening postures, this class will get you moving, strengthening, and challenging yourself like never before.

But remember, be patient with yourself. As you push yourself, listen to your body and its limitations & please BE CAREFUL not to go past your own practice level. Many people ask what is the best workout to do when you wake up? Is a cardio workout or strength workout better in the morning?

The best morning workout you can do to wake up your body is a combination of heart raising exercises, strength and mixing up stretching yoga poses throughout the workout. This 15 minute strength and stretch yoga class will do exactly that! It will get your heart rate up, get you sweating, working your abs, and stretching your shoulders, hamstrings, and upper body.

If you are looking to cure your morning fatigue, refocus your mind or wake up every muscle in your body to start your day, this is the perfect morning yoga class for you.
