You know the planets in the solar system, right? In our imagination, they are huge objects, especially the gas giants, and we tend to consider them the archetype of everything in the solar system which is disproportionate when compared with the size of our everyday context…

One thing that has always impressed us about our solar system is that the apparent diameters of the Sun and Moon appear virtually identical.
This strange concordance of angular dimensions, as we know, gives rise to solar eclipses, one of the rarest and most exciting astronomical phenomena offered by our sky.
