HOW TO MAKE PAKODA PREMIX
2 cups gram flour (besan)
Salt to taste
½ tsp red chilli powder
½ tsp turmeric powder
¼ tsp baking soda
½ tsp carom seeds (ajwain)
1. Dry roast gram flour on low heat for 10 minutes or till any moisture from the gram flour is gone.
2. Sift the roasted gram flour, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and baking soda directly into a parat.
3. Add the carom seeds and mix well. Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature.
4. Store in an air tight container and use as required.
